Spinner Racks – Save More Space in Your Home

From personal experience I know that one of the most important aspects of any home is empty space. The reason is that lack of it makes us feel like our homes are small. We tend to feel claustrophobic when are rooms start to look all crowded. If you own a big collection of CDs, your collection may be threatening your space and you may already be feeling a little crowded. There are many ways that you can save space in your room but if you do own a nice CD collection then a storage rack is definitively a first step towards freeing some space.

There are many types of CD storage racks. All of them are good at the only thing they do and that is helping you organize your collection and keeping it on a safe place. However, there are some cd storage racks that are better than others if you want to make room for other things in your home. These are spinning cd storage racks and they are the best when it comes to making room for other things. Instead of a large rack that would take away a big chunk of a wall in you room you could have a nice spinning CD storage rack in the corner of the room and save quite a good amount of space. Most of these products have four sides that are easily accessible through a spinning base that you can move with your hands to access the albums that you want. Most of the time these products are fairly cheap if they are made of plastic but if you want one of these made of wood get ready to pay more money.

Three are many different spinner racks. Some of them can handle 36 cases while others can easily handle a few hundred albums. Either of these is fine as long as it can easily store your whole collection. If you are constantly adding albums to your collection you should consider buying a storage rack than has more slots open to avoid having to buy another one later one to be able to store all you albums, always be careful where you store your music and your media and keep it way from sunlight to avoid warping on media and cases. Always avoid overfilling your spinning rack. Overfilling can lead to collapse of the whole thing. Remember most of the spinning mechanism can be made of plastic so it is very delicate and can easily be damaged by having more weight than it can handle. Do not put heavy objects on top of the rack since they can easily tilt the rack to one side and make it collapse. Always keep it clean. A dirty rack means a dirty collection. So always keep areas that are around your collection dust free to avoid getting dust particles on your CDs. For this reason you should always clean the area at least once in a few months. Your collection will thank you for it.
